Ram 3500 Durability Feature Highlights: 50,000 PSI Steel Frame and Available 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel Engine

The Ram 3500 heavy-duty pickup truck is one of the most popular Ram trucks we have on our lot here at Melloy Dodge Ram FIAT, so to help you get to know this heavy-duty pickup a little better, we'll be highlighting and discussing a couple of its durability features here today.

Built With a 50,000 PSI Steel Frame

The hydroformed 50,000 PSI steel frame contains extra cross-members to add more structural strength and overall efficiency to the Ram 3500. The front and rear rail contours are also hydroformed steel which provides a better, more secure placement option for the mounts and components of the suspension system.

A 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel 16 Engine

This available engine delivers torque ratings of 930 lb-ft, Best-in-Class 15,000-mile oil change frequency, 14,000lb max GVWR, and a rating of 31,210lbs max diesel tow.

Come see us here at Melloy Dodge Ram FIAT to test drive one for yourself!
