The 2023 Ram ProMaster is now available at Melloy Ram, and we’re offering specials to Las Cruces drivers and businesses that make this impressive vehicle even more affordable to lease or own. Updates for the new model year include a redesigned front end and more personalization options, and we have Melloy Ram specials available for all of those. The 2023 Ram ProMaster near Las Cruces is not sold in trim levels the way that a traditional passenger vehicle is. There are three core series—1500, 2500 and 3500—and those dictate maximum payload and towing capacities. Once you’ve identified the series that’s right for you, you can choose between either a cargo or passenger van, select a roof height, wheel base and length and further customize it through a wide range of optional equipment packages.
The 2023 Ram ProMaster receives a light exterior makeover that gives the ProMaster a cleaner appearance but also improves the headlamps. The main exterior difference between the passenger van and cargo van is that the passenger van has side windows. The base wheelbase is 118 inches. Optional wheelbases include 136 and 159 inches, and the ProMaster is available with the 159-inch wheelbase with an extended overall length. All passenger van models have the 159-inch wheelbase. Available roof heights include Low, High and, new for this model year, Super High. We are also offering specials to Las Cruces customers for the 3500 Cutaway, which can serve as the basis for a custom vehicle. Sixteen-inch steel wheels are standard, and aluminum wheels are optional.
Two-passenger seating is standard for the 2023 Ram ProMaster near Las Cruces. There are numerous seating options, including swivel seats and heated seating, and we have Melloy Ram specials available for all of those items as well. You can also upgrade the passenger seat to a double seat for three-passenger seating, or you can delete it for even more cargo space. The window van comes standard with two-passenger seating like the cargo van, but a second-row bench with seating for three is optional. Cloth seating, air conditioning, power accessories and tie-down rings in the cargo area are all standard. Options include an upgraded infotainment touch screen, wireless charging, satellite radio, under-seat storage, overhead storage shelves, LED ambient interior lighting and much more.
The 2023 Ram ProMaster is offered exclusively as a front-wheel-drive vehicle, and this is one of the ways its distinguished from many other cargo vans on the market. The FWD layout makes the ProMaster much easier to maneuver in tight urban environments. All ProMaster models have the same powertrain, which pairs a shiftable nine-speed automatic transmission with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 276 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque and which can tow almost 7,000 pounds with the optional trailering equipment, and we’re offering specials to Las Cruces customers for that upgrade. Maximum payload capacity is more than 4,600 pounds. Remote keyless entry and push-button ignition are standard equipment. Remote engine start is optional via the Driver Convenience group.
Uconnect 5 with a 7-inch touch screen and rearview camera are standard with the 2023 Ram ProMaster near Las Cruces. We also have Melloy Ram specials for the optional 10.1-inch screen with integrated navigation and voice control. Connected services, driver attention warning, forward collision warning with intervention and crosswind assistance are all standard equipment. There are a number of optional driver assist packages as well. The Lane Management Group adds lane departure warning with mitigation, blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning. The Safety Group adds front and rear parking sensors, a digital rearview mirror, blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning. The Advanced Safety Group includes the Safety Group and lane departure mitigation system and upgrades the rearview camera with a 360-degree surround-view camera.
