Exterior – Ram 1500

Ram introduces the 1500 this year by rattling off its two biggest priorities: luxury and hard work. Those priorities exist side-by-side, and you never have to sacrifice one to enjoy the other. They’ve redesigned the tailgate and truck bed this year to offer up a huge number of functions and even a trailer hitch light for easier hitches. The model’s tailgate is very talented as well. It opens for 180-degrees flat or it swings open at 88-degrees for each of its two swing-away doors. And if you want to do tailgating, the 2024 Ram 1500 near Las Cruces is always up for the party. Its tailgate holds up to 2,000 pounds of weight. Ram also debuts new appearance packages this year. These include the Sport, Night, Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T, and Limited Longhorn Southfork editions. Each one has something superior to offer on the build. For example, the Sport appearance package adds 20-inch wheels. The Night gets a black grille and black wheels to match. Mechanical – 2024 Ram 1500

All three Ram trucks get a versatile menu of engines this year. The Ram 1500 begins with a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine with mild hybrid technology (eTorque), 273 lb-ft of torque, and 305 horsepower. For many people using our Melloy Ram specials, that’s more than enough. For others, there’s the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine with eTorque. Its 410 lb-ft of torque and 395 horsepower are both a fantastic edition to the Ram 1500’s list of achievements.
