As a hybrid model, you’ve got versatility and efficiency from your powertrains. The GT trim features a 2.0L Hurricane4 turbocharged engine with 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Dodge has technology for everything on the new Dodge Hornet in Albuquerque. This includes entertainment and safety. How smart is the Hornet? Just take a look at a few of its incredible driver-assist features: Automatic high beams, Parkview Rear Backup Camera and Rear Parking Sensors, and Active Driving Assist. The last choice gives you the power to set following distance and speed so that you can co-pilot and enjoy the scenery more.
When discussing transmissions, two choices is always better than one. The model’s standard 6-speed automatic transmission is a brilliant example of Dodge’s knack for efficiency. There’s more, though. The 9-speed automatic transmission is an excellent addition to your performance choices.
The smooth and stylish Hornet GT trim comes with black cloth/leatherette seating and a gorgeous exterior design. Dodge makes sure that you get all your favorite Hornet badging all the way around the model. You’ll also notice a more fluid shape to the Hornet, almost as if it’s a graceful hornet itself. The hood slopes at a different spot so that it looks less straight across and then down and more like it’s sloping the whole way through. Tinted windows give the model an upscale look. For true upscale ambience, look to the GT Plus and its premium leather seats, sunroof, and wireless device charging. A 14-speaker Harmon Kardon premium audio system is also a great addition to the GT Plus.
