When it comes to performance, the new Ram 1500 Classic in Albuquerque gives you similar options to the Ram 1500. A V6 engine is standard. A V8 HEMI engine is optional with both the Tradesman and Warlock trim levels, and you have the choice between rear-wheel and four-wheel drive. The standard engine is a 3.6L V6 that makes 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The optional engine is a 5.7L V8 HEMI that outputs 395 hp and 410 lb.-ft. With either RWD or 4WD, both of these engines are paired with a shiftable eight-speed automatic. The Ram 1500 Classic impresses with 1,810 pounds of max payload and 10,620 pounds of max towing.

Note that the regular cab is available exclusively with the Tradesman trim level. Ram offers three bed configurations: 8 feet, 6 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 7 inches. The regular cab is paired with the long bed. The quad cab is paired with the standard bed. The popular crew cab gives you the choice of the standard or short bed. 20-inch aluminum wheels are optional with the Tradesman and standard with the Warlock.
The regular cab for the new 2024 Ram 1500 Classic has a bench and seats up to three. The quad and crew cabs give you the choice between either five- and six-passenger seating. The crew is notable in that it provides more than 40 inches of second-row legroom and 5.6 inches more than the quad cab. The Tradesman has a vinyl interior that is waterproof and can take a great deal of abuse. Cloth seats and carpeting are optional and included with the Warlock. All models have N95 cabin filtration system, and a humidity sensor is optional. For a premium audio experience, add the Alpine stereo system with nine speakers.
Many of the technologies introduced for the standard Ram 1500 have made their way over to the Ram 1500 Classic. That includes Ram Connect, which not only provides you with emergency services and onboard Wi-Fi but remote access and control of your Ram 1500 Classic. Uconnect 3 is standard and comes with a 5-inch infotainment touch screen. Uconnect 5 is optional and comes with an 8.4-inch screen either with or without navigation. The Uconnect 5 systems come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also comes with a voice command system and a fully functional media hub.
