2024 Ram Chassis Cab – Performance

The standard option for the new 2024 Ram Chassis Cab is based on the same platform as the Ram 3500. Our location also offers both Ram 4500 and Ram 5500 chassis cabs, and in all three cases, you have the choice between either a standard gas engine or an optional turbo-diesel engine. The standard engine is a 6.4L V8 HEMI that makes 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. You also have the option of 6.7L Cummins turbo-diesel that makes at least 370 hp and 850 lb.-ft. The Cummins engine is also available in a HO configuration: 420 hp and 1,075 lb.-ft. The gas engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The diesel is paired with a six-speed auto.

The Tradesman has a vinyl interior, which is a superior choice for demanding jobsite usage. The SLT adds cloth seating and carpeting. The Laramie and Limited have real leather instead. The upper trims also have a heated steering wheel and heated, power-adjustable front seats. The Limited adds real wood interior trim and front seat ventilation.
