The Gas-Powered Dodge Charger is Back
Fear not, fans of the legendary muscle car in Los Lunas: the Dodge Charger once again accommodates a gas engine. After initially being discontinued in 2025, the 2026 Dodge Charger gets an all-new Sixpack engine: a 3.0-liter twin-turbo I6 with 460 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque in R/T trim and 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet in the Scat Pack.
Four-Door Dodge Charger Daytona
The fully electric Charger Daytona debuted last year with a two-door design. Now, Santa Fe drivers who want the power of a muscle car without needing to buy gas can drive home in a four-door Charger Daytona.
Dodge Durango Regains V6 Engine
After a brief hiatus, the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine returns to the Dodge Durango powertrain lineup. Long the standard engine for the Durano, the Pentastar delivers 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

The Dodge Hornet has officially been discontinued for the 2026 model year.
The HEMI® V8 Returns to the Ram 1500
Many Ram 1500 fans in Bernalillo mourned when Ram discontinued the legendary HEMI® V8 engine in 2025. The hiatus was short-lived, as the 2026 Ram 1500 offers a HEMI® 5.7-liter V8 with 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. This engine is available across the Ram 1500 trim lineup.
